The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed in regards to the higher number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA read more services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area sassa status on a regular basis. The services position established for intervention encounters a large influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the office to attend to SRD all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to permit the servicing of all buyers and raise entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
